Digital advertising investments were 3 billion 479 million TL in the first 6 months of 2020. Digital channels grew by 39 percent in 2020 compared to 2019. In 2020, 7 billion 528 million TL was invested in digital. The sectors that increased their advertising investments the most in 2020 were retail, health and home cleaning products.
37 percent increase in search-based advertising investments
According to the report, in 2020, the market share of search-based channels in digital media investments was 38 percent, the share of display-based channels was 35 percent and the share of videos was 20 percent. Search-based advertising investments increased by 37 percent compared to 2019, reaching 2 billion 849 million TL. . In 2020, display-based advertising investments increased by 32 percent compared to the previous year and reached 2 billion 649 million TL. Video-based investments, on the other hand, reached 1 million 541 million TL with an increase of 61 percent compared to a year ago.
